Synetairos Technologies Limited (STL) was formed as a result of corporate restructuring at Kale Consultants Limited in the second quarter of 2004. The purpose of this move was to align business units so as to clearly reflect the focus of the services offered. Consequent to the restructuring move, all the business of Kale, relating to software development services, was handed over to STL thus improving the focus on the needs of our clients.

The services offered by STL include: -

Product Maintenance and Support : STL takes charge of a running application and provides a dedicated team to maintain the software. The maintenance package is designed to include de-bugging, carrying out updates and enhancing the existing utilities, thereby addressing evolving business needs. An example of this service is the custody software maintenance for Standard Chartered Bank , which has been supported by Kale for the past 6 years and has now passed on to STL.

Testing and Re-Engineering Services : STL offers a complete range of product testing and fitness-for-purpose testing for commercial applications particularly in areas such as Banking, Healthcare and Travel, wherein STL can bring to the forefront the business domain expertise in association with Kale. In addition to this STL also carries out and manages technological upgrades, which may include migration to new versions, web enabling, and even re-engineering of the entire package.

On-Site Resource Augmentation : The company puts together expert teams with specific skill sets for the duration of projects, which allows the client to keep a flexible work force till such time as the project is fully operational and the client has achieved a certain level of operability on the designed package.

The company has a skilled and dedicated workforce of headed by Prakash Alkutkar, an IT professional, who has been with the KALE Group for the past 18 years. STL operates out four locations at Chennai, Pune, Bangalore and Mumbai. The company boasts of having customers like EDS, SCOPE (IT arm of Standard Chartered), and I-Flex.
