In providing the services for application development, maintenance and migration, Synetairos offers the option of combining on site and off shore development bringing unparalleled cost savings to the customer. Three delivery models offer specific advantages with respect to time / cost parameters, organizational needs and scope of work. These are:

  • Dedicated Development Center Model – that works through joint planning, project management and sharing of risks and rewards. This model works on the basis of collaboration between the customer and Synetairos rather than the traditional customer-vendor relationship. In this model, Synetairos takes care of software development and implementation while the customer focuses on business needs.

  • Fixed Time and Cost Model - involves the services being provided by Synetairos either at one of its own development centers or at the customer's site and final implementation at the customer site. Such services are provided on the basis of fixed time and cost parameters. These are built on the foundation of certified quality processes and fine-tuned estimation techniques.

  • Resource Augmentation - Involves deployment of expert resources from Synetairos at customer's sites for fixed duration on a time and material basis. The customer controls the project and enjoys just-in-time resources to facilitate its speedier execution and implementation. The resources could alternately be also deployed at Synetairos's premises on a time & material basis.

Specifically for application maintenance services, Synetairos can also provide the maintenance using the off-site maintenance model. In the simplest case the off-site maintenance model would require the experts to be available at a Synetairos site to be identified during discussions with the customer. The experts would then be required to visit the customer site periodically to resolve problems, provide specific training, etc.

Synetairos can specifically extend such support from the centralized Help-desk. This will imply that the support will be provided by the centralized help-desk located in India supported by the concerned experts. In doing so, Synetairos is able to use all the process expertise that it has accumulated over more than a decade to provide a cost-effective support round-the-clock. This thus becomes very effective when the support is required to be provided to a distributed implementation.
