FAQs
- FAQ on Contract-to-Hire model:
1. Do you offer "permanent" jobs?
Our primary business is to supply skilled IT professionals to our end clients which are highly reputed multinational organizations.
Normally we are awarded contracts which are initially for a defined period and are renewable.
Where we have clarity that the contract is not likely to be ongoing and hence not renewable, we share that situation with you.
Statistically a vast majority of our employees finally get permanent position offers from our clients. Our clients have a right to hire the resources supplied by us.
If you are being hired for internal work of Synetairos or one of it's group companies then it will be made clear to you upfront. You will then be reporting to and working on the premises of Synetairos Technologies Limited.
Most of our employees who work on the premises of our clients are working on contract engagements.
2. What if your client terminates the contract?
Synetairos will be happy to place you elsewhere. It is in mutual interest. It is an opportunity for Synetairos to increase its business.
Synetairos and indeed no other company are immune to impact of market conditions. However we recognize that the career and welfare of our employees is of paramount importance and we believe in helping our employees' progress.
3. Is there a guarantee of ultimate hiring by the company where I will be working?
Normally our clients do not make such commitments upfront. However history is on our side, there is a very high probability of our clients absorbing our resources.
So long as you are productive, skilled & competent, no company would like to let go of you, even in bad times.
We hire only highly skilled people. We have practically zero benches. Our current problem is how to retain people and how to hire more.
So if you are good at what you do no need to worry.
4. Why should I quit my stable job and risk uncertainty?
The short answer is "for progress". Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The fact that you are looking around is an indication that you are not entirely happy with your current job and growth prospects. One changes jobs for a reason; it could be better money, opportunity for professional development, or better work environment.
Do not be a prisoner of stability and sacrifice your potential.
